You will come face to face with some of the finest medieval bells in the world, tales of Isambard Kingdom Brunel, and uncover the mysteries of the original 12th-century abbey that once dominated College Green. Lunchtime Eucharist

The Said Lunchtime Eucharist (common worship) is a spoken service where the congregation are invited to join in with the responses written in the order of service.  This service is usually held in one of the side chapels and lasts around 30 minutes.

Cathedral Summer Concert

Bristol Cathedral Choir continues an unbroken choral tradition stretching back to 1140 with a summer concert that celebrates the power, colour and depth of this remarkable ensemble. Featuring the Cathedral’s choristers, choral scholars and lay clerks, the programme showcases the choir’s distinctive sound in a concert setting, beyond its regular pattern of services. Alongside musical excellence, the choir’s work reflects a strong commitment to community, collaboration and shared music-making – values that have defined Bristol Cathedral Choir for centuries.

Event details

Doors: 6.15pm Refreshments available before the performance. Seating includes reserved central nave seating, with additional unreserved seating throughout the Cathedral. All ages welcome

Following an 18-month refurbishment, Bristol Cathedral’s historic organ has returned to its full voice. Throughout 2026, we invite you to experience its magnificent sound through concerts, services, lunchtime recitals, and interactive workshops.
