Celebration Evensong for Mark Lee

Join us for a special Celebration Evensong as we give thanks for the remarkable ministry and musical leadership of Mark Lee, who is approaching the end of his 28 years as Master of the Choristers and Organist at Bristol Cathedral.

This service of thanksgiving will feature Bristol Cathedral’s full choir and the newly refurbished Harris organ, celebrating Mark’s lasting contribution to the Cathedral’s musical life. Following the service, refreshments will be served.

Throughout his time at Bristol Cathedral, Mark has shaped and strengthened a rich musical tradition, including establishing the Girl Choristers, founding the Consort, supporting the re-establishment of the Choir School as an Academy, helping to create the Songbirds programme, and overseeing the recent refurbishment of the Cathedral’s magnificent organ.

Former choristers, chorister families, friends, and all who have been part of Bristol Cathedral’s musical community are especially encouraged to join us as we celebrate Mark’s achievements and give thanks for his dedication, vision, and service.
