Bristol Cathedral welcomes visits from groups from all over the world. To create your perfect visit, please call Sarah Morris, Executive Assistant on 0117 946 8185, email@example.com.
Group Admission - Admission to the Cathedral is free for individuals. Due to increased visitor numbers in the summer, throughout August 2020 there will be a charge of £2 per person for groups of 10 or more. All group visits need to be booked into the Cathedral Diary in advance, and paid five working days before the date of the visit. Please contact Sarah Morris to book your group visit.
Opening Times - From Monday to Friday the Cathedral is open to visitors from 8.00am until 5.00pm, unless you wish to attend Choral Evensong or Evening Prayer at 5.15pm. There is a lunchtime service at 12.30pm. On Saturdays and Sundays we are open from 8.00am until 3.15pm, unless you wish to attend Choral Evensong at 3.30pm, with the Sunday morning Eucharist running from 10am - 11.30am. It is advisable to arrange visits around these service times - although Choral Evensong is a lovely way to end a visit. Please note - sometimes there will be special services and events happening in the Cathedral which may mean that these times change, and that we have to close temporarily - these will be discussed on enquiry.
Guided Tours - Our team of Guides offer wonderful tours of the Cathedral, which can be adapted to suit your needs, time limitations and interests. Tours are £5 per adult (coach driver and tour operator free) and need to be booked at least 10 working days in advance. For School Visits, please contact Frances Taylor, Education Officer on 0117 946 8175, firstname.lastname@example.org
Refreshments - The Cathedral cafe serves a lovely range of teas, coffees, lunches and snacks and is open 10am - 4.30pm (Monday - Saturday). Outside catering is an alternative possibility for larger parties and formal lunches, or we can recommend you somewhere good to eat locally.
International Visitors - We have leaflet guides of the Cathedral in a number of different lanuages (download). We are able to offer guided tours in a limited number of other languages - please ask on enquiry.
Coaches - There is Coach Parking on Anchor Road (access to the Cathedral in 5 minute walk via steep slope or steps) and a Coach drop-off point outside the Marriott Royal, College Green (fully accessible to the Cathedral in 2 minute walk).
