Education Visits
For nearly 900 years, people have gathered here to question, discover, and make meaning together. We’d love to welcome your students into that story.
Our education visits are hands-on, curriculum-linked, and designed for all Key Stages, from early years through to sixth form. You might explore the Cathedral as a living place of worship, learn about Bristol’s connections to the transatlantic slave trade through All God’s Children, or build something entirely around what your class is studying right now.

Group Visits
There’s no entry charge to visit Bristol Cathedral, and we work hard to make sure every group feels genuinely at home here – whether you’ve come from around the corner or across the world.
Groups of 10 or more are asked to book in advance. Group admission is £2 per person.

Let us know your group interest and we’ll build something around it. Themed tours, private experiences, something entirely different, we’re always glad to explore options.
Visiting Hours
Monday to Saturday, 10am to 4pm. Sunday, 11.30am to 3pm. Services and special events occasionally affect these hours.
Getting here by coach
For a fully accessible two-minute walk, coaches can drop off outside the Marriott Royal on College Green. Parking is available on Anchor Road, around five minutes on foot via a steep slope or steps.

We want every visit to feel easy and welcoming for everyone in your group. The Cathedral has step-free access to the main nave and most areas, a hearing loop, and accessible toilet facilities. If anyone in your group has specific access requirements, please get in touch before you book and we’ll do our best to help.
