Each year, thousands of people gather beneath the Cathedral’s vaulted ceilings for Carols by Candlelight, a festive evening of music, readings and congregational carol singing. Performed by the Cathedral Choir, the programme weaves together much-loved Christmas favourites with beautiful choral music old and new, creating a memorable start to the Christmas season.

As candles illuminate the Cathedral and familiar carols fill the space, this special concert offers a chance to pause, reflect and celebrate the joy of Christmas alongside others from across the city.

Whether this is a long-standing family tradition or your first visit to Bristol Cathedral, you’ll find a warm welcome and an evening of music and storytelling in a truly unforgettable setting.
