Meet The Team
Maria Whiteman
Visitor Experience Assistant
Maria greets visitors as part of the front-of-house team, assisting with events and ensuring every visit is memorable.
Mark Lee
Master of the Choristers and Organist
Mark is responsible for the training, direction, and management of the Cathedral’s music, notably the Cathedral Choirs.
Martha Lewington
Development Director (Currently on Maternity Leave)
Martha is the Cathedral’s Development Director. She has responsibility for leading the work to ensure we nurture and grow our loyal supporters in and around the Cathedral.
Natalie Gearing
Events & Venue Hire Manager
Natalie oversees a wide range of events that bring the Cathedral to life, creating memorable experiences for visitors and promoting the Cathedral as a vibrant cultural venue.
The Revd Canon Neil Patterson
Vice Dean
Vice-Dean Neil is responsible for pastoral care and the support and direction of volunteers in the life of the Cathedral, and deputises for the Dean.

Paul Walton
Assistant Organist
Paul Walton accompanies and assists in the training of the Cathedral Choir, gives regular recitals, and directs the Cathedral Consort and the Cathedral Chamber Choir.
Roger Dubois
Head Verger and Sub-Sacrist
Roger is responsible for the Verger team who oversee the day-to-day running of the Cathedral’s services, concerts and events. Their responsibilities include; security, first aid, health and safety and the general maintenance and management of the Cathedral building and precincts.
