Our team of dedicated clergy and lay staff work hard behind the scenes to keep the Cathedral’s busy schedule of services, events and activities running, to maintain and take care of the building and to create a welcoming environment for all our visitors. Meet The Team
Paul Walton
Assistant Organist
Paul Walton accompanies and assists in the training of the Cathedral Choir, gives regular recitals, and directs the Cathedral Consort and the Cathedral Chamber Choir.
Rebekah Guy
Education Officer
Rebekah is responsible for the planning and organisation of all our school trips, as well as our seasonal trails and children’s events.
Roger Dubois
Head Verger and Sub-Sacrist
Roger is responsible for the Verger team who oversee the day-to-day running of the Cathedral’s services, concerts and events. Their responsibilities include; security, first aid, health and safety and the general maintenance and management of the Cathedral building and precincts.
Roopindera Kaur
Volunteer Coordinator
Roopindera supports and nurtures our large team of volunteers who work across all areas of Cathedral life, as well as helping to recruit new volunteers.
Sarah Morris
Executive Assistant to the Dean
Sarah is the Dean’s EA and also manages the Cathedral diary. She is the first point of contact for major services, special services and civic events.

Safeguarding & Pastoral Officer
As Safeguarding Officer, Sarah ensures that case work with children, young people and vulnerable adults is managed well and concerns are flagged with the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor; she supports the Canon Pastor in pastoral work; and she supervises and supports the children and young people in the Cathedral Choir.

Thomas supports the Head Verger to lead the Verger team in overseeing the day-to-day running of the Cathedral and supporting the clergy to carry out their priestly functions
