Epiphany is the Sunday on which we celebrate the arrival of the Magi – the wise men or three kings – who came from far away to recognise the baby Jesus as the Son of God. They bring gifts which symbolise his kingship and prophetic and priestly roles. It is a day to give thanks for a faith that spread throughout the world.
