Lunchtime Eucharist
The Said Lunchtime Eucharist (common worship) is a spoken service where the congregation are invited to join in with the responses written in the order of service.
This service is usually held in one of the side chapels and lasts around 30 minutes.
Music
Lunchtime Recital: Paul Walton
Paul Walton, Assistant Organist at Bristol Cathedral, presents a lunchtime recital on the Cathedral organ. Paul’s work at the Cathedral includes supporting worship services, playing for choral evensong, and contributing to the Cathedral’s musical life. His recital programme will feature a selection of organ repertoire chosen to highlight the instrument’s range, colour and capacity for both reflective and uplifting music.
A live view will be set up so the audience can watch Paul at the console, offering insight into his performance and technique.
There is no charge or booking required but we are grateful for any donation you are able to make.

Join one of Bristol Cathedral’s dedicated tour guides as they take you on a journey spanning 900 years of history, heritage, and architecture at the extraordinary Bristol Cathedral!
From the tale of St Jordan of Bristol (yes, Bristol has a saint!) through to the ordination of the first women priests in 1994, joining a Bristol Cathedral Highlights Tour is the best and most fascinating way to get to know one of the grandest buildings in the city of Bristol!
The tours last between 45-60 minutes, and your guide will meet you inside the Cathedral at the Welcome Area.
The entrance to Bristol Cathedral is level access. However, some areas of the Cathedral included in the highlights tours involve uneven floors and steps, particularly when accessing the Norman Chapter House. Sensible footwear is advised.
