This November, Bristol Cathedral is launching the Cathedral Christmas Shop in collaboration with Southville’s Independent Design Collective and Bristol Pop-Up Shop.
Showcasing the work of local artists, together with a range of festive favourites and stocking fillers, the Cathedral Christmas Shop is a place in the heart of the city to shop locally this Christmas.
Whether you’re looking for something sparkly (gold), something fragrant (frankincense) or anything else (…myrrh), find it at the Cathedral Christmas Shop.
The shop will be open daily from Thursday 18 November to Christmas Eve. (Please check this website for opening times each day.)
Make your Christmas a Cathedral Christmas.
The Very Revd Dr Mandy Ford, Dean of Bristol, said:
We are delighted to be partnering with local artists and independent businesses in this Christmas venture. We hope people will enjoy the opportunity to support them and, like the wise men, find gifts that are just the right thing for family and friends.
Fiona Clabon, of Bristol Pop-Up Shop, said:
“We are delighted to be bringing some wonderful local creatives to Bristol Cathedral this Christmas. It’s been a joy to work as part of this collaboration; to bring together some brilliant Bristol businesses and share a beautiful range of gifts to help you get your Christmas shopping started!”
Chitra Tarling, owner of the Independent Design Collective on North Street, said:
“I am delighted to be collaborating with Bristol Cathedral and Bristol Pop Up Shop to host a Christmas Gift Shop within the Cathedral, which will showcase the work made by Bristol local artists and designers. It is such a beautiful venue and I'm sure this event will help draw even more people through its doors.”
