Accessibility

Access for All Works Coming Soon

We’re preparing to begin the next phase of Bristol Cathedral’s Access for All project, an important programme of improvements that will make more of the Cathedral accessible to everyone.

The works will include the installation of a new lift, improvements to routes throughout the Cathedral, and changes to the Cloister that will create step-free access between key areas including the Nave, Chapter House, Garden, Café and facilities.

During construction, some visitor routes and areas of the Cathedral will be temporarily affected. Alternative access arrangements will be in place wherever possible, and we will share detailed information about each stage of the works before they begin.

We appreciate your patience and understanding as we carry out these improvements and look forward to welcoming more people than ever to enjoy all that Bristol Cathedral has to offer.

Further details and project updates will be published soon.
