Fifth Sunday before Lent

Canon Nicola considers the meaning of the ‘living water’ Jesus speaks of in the reading from John’s Gospel, when he encounters a Samaritan woman at Jacob’s well.  Following a pilgrimage to the Holy Land in November she describes the situation in Nablus today, looking to the Orthodox Church which is built over the well for signs of hope.
