Remembrance Sunday

Join us at Bristol Cathedral this Remembrance Sunday as we gather to remember and give thanks for all those who have served in the Armed Forces, and especially those who gave their lives in war and conflict.
Our Sung Eucharist offers an opportunity to come together in prayer, reflection and remembrance. Through music, scripture, hymns and silence, we will honour the courage, sacrifice and service of generations past, while holding in our hearts all those affected by conflict today.
Remembrance is both a personal and shared act. Many of us carry family stories, memories and connections to those who served. As a city and community, we also pause to acknowledge the cost of war and renew our commitment to peace.
Following the service, we join people from across Bristol at the Cenotaph for the Act of Remembrance and the two-minute silence, standing together to honour those who have served our nation.
Whether you attend each year or are joining us for the first time, you are warmly invited to be part of this important moment of remembrance.
Everyone is welcome.
