Creative Fun for Families at Bristol Cathedral

This Summer, Crafty Cathedral returns with free, hands-on craft activities for children and families at Bristol Cathedral. Held in the Cathedral Nave, these sessions invite children aged 3 – 11 (and all ages!) to explore creativity, faith, and storytelling through seasonal crafts.

Each week offers a new theme to spark creativity, imagination, and gentle reflection, using hands-on craft, storytelling, and sensory play. Activities may include drawing, building, sorting, or making – all designed to help children explore big ideas in an approachable, playful way. Whether it’s thinking about special places, people who inspire us, or the stories hidden in stone and glass, these sessions are a great opportunity to relax, create, and connect.

What to Expect

  • Craft Activities: Enjoy a variety of fun, seasonal craft projects designed to spark creativity and imagination.

  • Storytelling & Themes: Each session offers a new, thoughtful theme – from special places and meaningful journeys to heroes and hidden features

  • All Ages Welcome: While the event is tailored to children aged 3–11, families of all ages are invited to join.
