Be a Chorister for the Day – Explore Life as a Chorister at Bristol Cathedral

Is your child in Year 4 and passionate about singing? Chorister for the Day is a unique opportunity for children and their families to experience what it’s like to be part of the renowned Cathedral Choir.

Throughout the day, your child will participate in a fun and interactive singing workshop, try on chorister robes, and gain an understanding of what life as a chorister involves. They will also learn about Evensong and the musical traditions of the Cathedral. Parents will have the chance to meet and chat with chorister families over coffee, learning about the commitment, rewards, and opportunities that come with being a chorister.

Becoming a chorister at Bristol Cathedral opens doors to a world-class musical education and exceptional opportunities. Choristers receive free vocal lessons, funding for instrumental lessons, and perform in prestigious events, including appearances on national TV, radio, and international tours. All of our choristers are educated at Bristol Cathedral Choir School.
