Lunchtime Recital: Charlotte Whittle

Join us for a powerful and expressive recital with Charlotte Whittle, a Jugendlich Dramatic Soprano from the Kingdom of Fife. A graduate of the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, Charlotte has performed leading operatic roles across Europe, including Elisabeth (Tannhäuser), Sieglinde (Die Walküre), Senta (Der fliegende Holländer), Donna Elvira (Don Giovanni), and Leonora (Il Trovatore).

Her career has taken her to stages from Zürich to Dublin, Edinburgh to Cardiff, and she has appeared with companies including Cardiff Cotswold Opera, Bath Opera, and the Royal Scottish National Orchestra. Recent highlights include her debut performance of Wagner’s Wesendonck Lieder and her acclaimed portrayal of Gutrune and the Third Norn in Götterdämmerung.

With a voice described as both commanding and deeply expressive, Charlotte’s recital will feature a varied programme showcasing her dramatic range and artistry.
