Advent Quiet Day – Waiting at the table, standing at the door with Bishop Paul Bayes

A series of reflections on the theme of ‘hospitality’ led by the former Bishop of Liverpool: 

First Address: “Wait…wait…”

Second Address: The Table 

Third Address: “…and stand there.”

Fourth Address: The Door  

During the day there will also be space for private reflection and prayer. 

Paul Bayes was ordained in 1979 and ministered for thirty years as a parish priest, University chaplain, church planter, and national policy advisor. From 2010 he served as a Suffragan bishop in St. Albans Diocese, and in 2014 was appointed Diocesan bishop in Liverpool. He retired in 2022, and now lives in Bath. 

Taking place in The Chapter House. Arrival from 9.30am for 10am start until 4.00pm. 

Refreshments will be provided but please bring your own lunch.
