Finance Administrator

Are you an organised person with an eye for detail and process?
We are recruiting a Finance Administrator to support the smooth and accurate financial operations of the charity, ensuring all transactions are recorded and processed in a timely manner. You will be part of a friendly team, based in the historic Cathedral offices, working together to ensure that the Cathedral’s resources are managed efficiently and transparently. The role will be varied and will include working with volunteers to undertaken weekly cash accounting operations; raising sale invoices; posting and reconciling supplier invoices and payments; undertaking weekly bank reconciliations; and maintaining Gift Aid records.

Hours
Part-time: 22.5 hours per week – to include Mondays
Pay
£14,742.00 (FTE £24,570.00)
Working Arrangements
The main place of work will be the Gatehouse Offices at Bristol Cathedral, with some flexibility for remote working.
Pension
Membership of the Church Workers Pension Scheme, with a 7% employers contribution and 5% employee contribution. The Scheme includes a death in service cover of twice the annual salary.
Annual Leave
25 days plus bank holidays per year, pro rata for part-time employees. Annual leave increases by one day per year from year six to year ten of employment.
