No charge. No booking. Just turn up, get stuck in, and see where your imagination takes you.

Whether you come for one Thursday or all four, everyone’s welcome!
A Day Out at Bristol Cathedral
Make the most of your visit with themed trails, music, and hands-on activities that bring the Cathedral’s spaces to life. Kids can explore, create, and uncover the stories behind the stone and glass, while families enjoy a calm, inspiring day together.
Take a break at our beautiful café, run by Pinkmans, offering light lunches, single-origin coffee, cakes, and their famous sourdoughnuts.
The Cathedral Garden is a springtime wonder, full of flowers, winding paths, and curious wildlife, while the courtyard next to the café offers a sunny spot to relax.
