Sunday 22 December
3.30pm – 4.30pm
Children (and adults!) are warmly invited to come dressed as shepherds, angels, wise men, sheep, or any other character from the nativity scene. Whether you’re donning a simple robe or a more elaborate costume, this is your chance to join in the fun and bring the Christmas story to life! The service will feature a light-hearted retelling of the nativity, complete with familiar carols for all to sing along to. And don’t forget to meet Charlie the Donkey, who will be making a special appearance!
Find Out MoreA Warm Welcome from the Dean of Bristol.
Into a troubled world God sends his son, Jesus, to bring light and life to all.
As Christmas approaches, we hear angels speaking words of peace to those who are anxious, “do not be afraid” and looking forwards in hope to a brighter future, “I bring you tidings of great joy”.
Join us to hear those words again in familiar carols and bible readings in the very special surroundings of your Cathedral this December. There are a variety of services to suit all tastes, from candlelit processions and solemn music to the chaotic fun of toddler carols. Do join us!
