Lunchtime Talk: Affordability and Sustainability in Bristol

Wednesday 16 October

1.15pm – 2.00pm

A general perception is that highly priced homes are embedded in areas that are associated with cohesive and convivial communities. However, recent research suggests that successful neighbourhoods are those that foster social interactions towards creating sustainable communities.

This talk will examine the extent to which this hypothesis applies to Bristolian neighbourhoods to ascertain whether property prices accurately reflect quantifiable attributes associated with sustainable communities.

Warm Welcome from the Dean of Bristol.

Bristol Cathedral promises an exciting Summer and Autumn ahead with a variety of family-friendly activities, including craft days for children.

When you visit with your family don’t miss our children’s trail and enjoy hunting for some of the more unusual animals portrayed in stone and glass around the building. Did you know there’s even a snail crawling across a leaf among the carvings on our walls?

In our Sunday worship throughout September, we will be focusing on Creation- the gift of life, the importance of home, and our responsibility to use the gifts of Creation wisely.
