The 25th Anniversary of the Ordination of Women Priests

On Sunday 17 March at 3.30pm, Bristol Cathedral hosts a celebratory Eucharist to mark the 25th Anniversary of the first women priests, which took place in Bristol Cathedral on 12 March 1994.

We give thanks that we have not only women priests, but also women bishops and it is now the norm to see women serving in all roles within the church. Truly something to celebrate!

Bishop Vivienne Faull will preach at the service, and the Revd Robbin Clark will preside.

All are warmly invited to attend. Visiting clergy are invited to robe (cassock/surplice/white stole) and process.

Please let us know via email at sarah.morris@bristol-cathedral.co.uk if you would like to attend the service, whether or not you are intending to robe, and how many from your parish will be attending.
