The annual Senior Schools’ Art Exhibition will be making its return to Bristol Cathedral on the 8 February. The exhibition runs until the 21 February and showcases artwork from students across Bristol.
This year’s exhibition promises to be one of the biggest yet, with art on show in the Nave Aisles from a number of different Bristol schools.
“We are delighted to be hosting our senior schools’ art exhibition again this year, supported by the Bristol Savages. It’s a fantastic celebration of Bristol’s young people and we welcome families to come and admire their artistic talent.” Frances Taylor, Education Officer, Bristol Cathedral
The exhibition, which has run for over 10 years is kindly supported by the Bristol Savages. Founded in 1904, the Bristol Savages is a society concerned with the pursuit of the Fine Arts, Painting, Music, Poetry, other Performing Arts and Good Fellowship.
"Bristol Savages are delighted to sponsor the prizes for The Bristol Schools Art Exhibition in February 2018 held in the superb setting of Bristol Cathedral. Invariably the quality of the art submitted by the students is outstanding and it is a magnificent tribute to the youth of our city and their teachers." Bristol Savages
Come and admire the creativity of Bristol's young people in this magnificent setting. All are welcome and admission is free.
A special prize-giving ceremony will be held at 6.15pm on Wednesday 21 February at which prizes will be awarded for the best artwork from each school and an overall winner will be crowned. All are welcome.
