Add a little music to your lunchtime with our weekly recital series, showcasing classical music from around the world. This week, we welcome our own wonderful Choral Scholars: Ailsa Campbell, Patrick Osborne, Oliver Parry and Benjamin Weaver
A choir has been singing on the site of the Cathedral since the Augustinian monastery was founded in 1140. When the church formally became Bristol Cathedral in 1542 its statutes required that provision be made for the development and maintenance of the choir, whose role was to sing the praises of God. Read more about the Cathedral Choir.
Admission is free and all are welcome. A retiring collection will be taken, with all proceeds helping to fund music at the Cathedral.
See all of our events in our January - June brochure.
