‘Gromit Unleashed’ Sculptures at the Cathedral
Wallace and Gromit's Grand Appeal is a £3.5 million campaign to provide pioneering new facilities for Bristol Children's Hospital. As part of the appeal, 80 different sculptures of Gromit have been placed around Bristol. The Cathedral is home to two. One is stationed inside the Cathedral, and was designed by Bristol Cathedral Choir School student Zack Taylor. Another, named 'Poetry in Motion', was designed by Joanna Lumley, and can be found on College Green during the day, before being moved into the Cathedral for safe-keeping at night.
The sculptures will be at the Cathedral until the 8th of September. More information on 'Gromit Unleashed' is available here. Their 'Detect-O-Gromit' app is available in the Apple and Android app stores.
