Lent 2017 : Windows on Medieval Devotion

What was it like to worship in medieval times and what might it have to teach us as we seek to worship God today?

On Monday evenings in Lent, we will gather to explore these questions making full use of our historic building and drawing on the insights of specialists in medieval architecture, music and history.  Each evening will mix a talk with some practical element, such as listening to music or studying an aspect of the Cathedral’s architecture, in order to take us back to the sights and sound of medieval devotion.

Speakers include Jon Cannon, David Hoyle, Mark Lee and Beth Williamson.

Admission is free and all are welcome. The talk will be followed by a glass of wine or soft drink.
