Join us at 10.30am on 1 April as we gather to hear Mark's gospel recited by heart. Stefan Smart will recite the gospel in a way which promises to be thought provoking and reflective as we approach our celebrations of Easter.
"When I started rehearsing for this production I had no idea what it would do for me, apart from being enormous fun and giving me a great sense of fulfilment as an actor. It's clear to me now that God's word is dangerous stuff! It can knock you off course in the most thrilling and comforting ways. It can drive home - straight to the heart - a personal 'word' that is for you and for you alone. It can bring your faith alive. I hope you will be riveted too!” Stefan Smart
The Gospel of Mark has been read aloud in the Cathedral in the approach to Easter for the past 6 years. Thuis year, we welcome Stefan Smart who, in 2016 recited the gospel in parks and churches across England. He will be talking about his experiences with The Presentations so far and will take part in a Q&A session at Open Fellowship on Tuesday 14 March, 6pm. All are welcome.
